Is it possible to add a warning message to the “Calc Length” operator, which will inform user when scale of the curve is different than 1?

Hi there this is a very useful addon but i cannot make it work either on 2.8 or 2.81 even if it is activated in addons the menu don’t show up in n panel?

Any idea what could be the issue?

Just downloaded Blender 2.80 from the official site and installed the addon. Everything is working. Located in the n panel in ‘Edit’.

What does it write in the console? Is the latest version of the addon?

Hi cwolf3d,

I just download the gumroad version on your first post and i install it on both 2.8 and 2.81 but that edit button is not showing in n panel.

I got no warning in console it’s just install fine without error.

Got it it was conflicting with Bsurface addon, i deactivated Bsurface addon and now it is showing under edit.

Bsurface addon was also under edit.

Selecting another tab in the add-on settings may help (name it differently)

Wow, Curve Tools 2 opens a whole lot of new possibilities.
I understand this addon is under heavy development, but if you or someone else has time to make tooltips, it’s easier for the user to get a grasp of how to use each feature.

I was looking for birail and found your addon. Thanks for making this great addon. I have a few questions.

Does the birail work with nurbs curves? I tried nurbs curves and although there appears to be an object created in the collections list, nothing is on my viewport.
Do you plan on adding support for multiple profile curves? Here is an example of what I’m talking about:
Also, how hard is it to add support for more than 2 rail curves? (Triails, quadrails, etc. :D). I’m not sure if any other app actually supports this, so I was wondering how difficult this is. The algorithm is probably very complex to support more than 2 rails.
