I’ve been trying to model a Dome house as shown on the domeofahome website, did add a link but it was rejected.
I’ve created the dome in the shape and dimensions I need using a UVSphere which I subdivided to give me smaller faces to delete. Then I’ve removed the rough sections for windows and balconies etc, but am having a problem getting rounded edges that remain in the shape of the sphere.
I always seem to end up with jagged edges, often protruding along the wrong axis, as I would have to manipulate all three axis as I’m moving vertices.
Is there a nice way to cut a smooth orifice into a UVSphere? Any links to tutorials or suggestions greatly appreciated.
