Curvy3D 4.0 released

Love the modeling concept. I’d be delighted to see a similar technique in our beloved Blender.

Something like this?

I agree those are useful tools, but I’d love the ease of drawing a guide and having the organic shape dynamically conform to it, instead of working with curve points and axes.

I guess Grease Pencil could be a great tool to use for a sculpting process like this.

That’s funny, yesterday I pondered why Zbrush’s Shadow Box doesn’t get much love.
With a better interface and using Strokes and shapes instead of alphas,
I think this could be a very useful feature.
It seems like this software goes somehow in that direction.
Not exactly what I had in mind but it comes close.
So thanks for sharing.

As you mentioned Grease Pencil, I found this add on the other day.

I didn’t took a deeper look yet, but it seems to be promising.

Indeed. I also quite like the similar tool in Paint 3D. It’d be really great if something like that could be added to Blender as well.

There is a sketch to 3D program that is even more intuitive but it has been abandoned a long time ago :frowning:

I just released my latest video 4 hours ago talking about it where I demo this abandoned program from drawing all the way to final animation friendly topology, this program ain’t no joke in the right hands:
