custom rendering machine

Hello, hopefully everyone is doing ok.

I have been searching for couple of days now for which parts should i buy to build my computer. I am not a nerd in computer parts, so when i search a part, i get even confuser and not sure what to buy with all the choices out there:no:. I am at a point that my computer keeps lagging and freezing because of my high resolution sculpt and am not even done yet, so I know for a fact that when i retopo and add all these complex textures and animation and fluids, hair, its not gonna hold up, so its time for a major upgrade.

to understand what kind of work intensity is gonna be put on the computer and the level of realism short animation I am trying to reach and create, is shown in the video below. skip to 31:46. many of you may know the game, its from the game God of War 2 Zeus vs the Titans cutscene

I know this is too much to ask and i feel bad to ask this much, but i am desperate and have no where to turn to, but you guys. but knowing how nice and beautiful blender community is, i have no doubt that all these questions will be answered.

-budget of $2000 USD to spend. if its perfect, willing to go up to $2500 USD max.
-do you guys suggest to buy a ready to use computer or build one from scratch? from the side of getting it for my money’s worth and performance wise cuz i only want this pc to only use it for blender.

-and just curious, is there websites that you can pick what parts you want and they can build it for you with a fare decent price?

here is mostly what i am clear on what i need:

-all of this is gonna be dedicated to be used only for blender.
-mostly concerned and focused on to be reliable and lightning fast for rendering of high detailed realistic textures, with complex animation up to 2-4 minutes long
-what kind of tower should I get to have immense space for efficient air circulation and cooling? if possible, detachable external filters to take out and clean from dust
-best liquid cooling
-fast intel cpu processor
-and this is the question that really keeps me wondering because i know this will play a big role in blender, what Nvidia GPU card should I get? should I get a dual card?
-what is VRam and should I be concerned with it to effect blender performance?
-how much ram for the computer should i get?
-how much ram for the GPU i should get?
-or the ram for the gpu and the computer the same?
-how does ram work in regards for blender? will after i turn off my system, all that ram memory go back? or is it gone for ever?
-does the monitor i use matter? from the perceptive that i wont see my detailed high resoulution model
-should i worry about having to replace my gpu card in the future due to loss of ram?
-what other parts should i worry about for fastest rendering and performance for blender?

again, thank you in advance i hope you guys can help me out. because i wont know what to do if you guys don’t answer every question on here. I go to the electronic store and they have no idea how to answer my questions.

thank you so much for replying back. here is the specs of what am thinking of build. i didn’t buy anything. wanted to make sure of other opinions… let me know what you think.

1.in the future,i might might one or two more gpus and do a sli, you think that be faster on rendering time and more efficient?

2.and that is why i chose this mother board because it has more slots for gpus if i wanted to upgrade.what do you think of the motherboard? efficiency and space between future gpus?

Tower(posted this to get input if its good). it has three already build in fans, but how it looks, overheating is one of my concerns, i will put 2 more fans in there and with the liquid cooler, hopefully that will be enough.

1.this is a Nvidia GPU correct?

2.is this GPU more for gaming or it can be used efficiently with workstations due to my budget limit of 2800 dollars?

3.this is a workstation purpose use and like what i mentioned above for the purpose of what am gonna be using it for, 6GB of vRam is more than enough? or should I get more vRam?

4.and this what really gets me and i don’t understand, does vRAM runs out because of rendering? for my purpose of use, how does my gpu runs out of vram when using blender?

5.Should I be worried about running out of Vram for my GPU? not sure how it works. if my scene for example, i am working on it or it is rendering and the size was 1GB, after I turn off my system or turn off blender and stop working on it, that 1GB is returned and the Gpu is back to having 6GB total vRam? or that 1GB is gone forever?

6.does the cpu effect how fast the gpu renders?

  1. and just putting it out there, the monitor i have eye on this monitor. is it good?
  2. does the monitor effect the GPU tremendously (vram wise and rendering speed)?

  1. the psu is fine to be 1000w right? its better to have the extra juice since am gonna upgrade in the future and will require more watts? right?

10.will having 1000w for a psu(extra watts) could damage my hardware that will use in the system now? or its ok to have a extra watts?
