Customize Geodesic Hexagonal Sphere?

Using either a setting in the geodesic add-on or geometry nodes, is it possible to customize the number of hexagons between the pentagons on a hexagonal sphere? The problem I’m running into is that both the frequency variable of the geodesic add-on and using an icosphere with the dual mesh geometry node produce set numbers of hexagons.

Is there any way to tell Blender I want exactly 12 hexagons between the pentagons?

You can create it by subdividing ico sphere 12 times in edit mode

And just dual mesh in geo nodes

Also I have old node that subdivides ico sphere with more control over subdivisions

I don’t think so. The wiki doesn’t have an image for the one I want (m=13 Goldberg, since the pentagon is counted) but it’s on there.

Yeah thats true, a goldberg polyhedron is able to be split with the exact count between, just like higgsas method also shows. The problem is that if you base the splits on pure subdivision you dont get all possible splits.
