Afternoon all,
What would people’s recommendations be for cutting out the details shown in the attached picture? It seems that trying to model it at the initial stage using subdivision surface is a no-go because of the amount of polygons that would be required.
I’ve thought about creating the main shape of the bumper without those cut-outs, collapse subdivision to level 1 and then use the knife tool to go in afterwards and cut the shapes out as required. That could potentially get messy because it means dealing with even more polygons.
I’m not at the PC at the moment so can’t upload a blend file.
