Ah, so the report of the work giving Cycles a spectral rendering option has been posted. Very nice to see how you are putting code to your ideas, as that is something very few people have the motivation or the know-how to do. Another thing to note to all in this thread is that this can also be seen as the devtalk forum doing its job (which is helping new developers become contributors to Blender and helping existing ones become more active).
