Cycles Engine Rigid Body Animation HELP!

I am animating a physics simulation in the cycles engine and need some help with the rigid bodies. I have everything i need except something to run into the building made of the rigid body parts. I setup a passive rigid body with collision and try to add keyframes to it and make it run through the building with the rigid body parts. It does no collision or anything. How do i fix this? or get something of the equivalant to run into the building or shoot or launch that has physics as well?
any help is appreciated.

have you enabled that the rigid body is animated? what version of blender are you using?
