so i’m trying to distribute some cycles renders across multiple machines, but i’m finding colour management is behaving really weird.
firstly, am i correct that we still need to switch to the standard renderer to enable/disable colour management for cycles? when i do this on both systems i find that one computer goes from dark to super dark, whereas the other goes from super bright to kinda bright.
same file and textures are being referenced in both cases, and both systems are using cpu compute. i’m also viewing both output files on the same computer and monitor. but is it possible that cycles somehow uses the system gamma during the actual rendering process?
colour management is still somewhat of an intimidating beast to me, but i’ve rendered from both of these machines in the past using the internal renderer and the output frames have always matched without issue.
