i see the material preview panel at the bottom on the right

is it possible to move it up and how ?

i need a magnifier to see this handle !
but is there a way to save it as default for all material ?

AFAIK it’ll save along with UI if you do Save User Settings.

ok so you go into cycles set panels as you like then Ctrl-U it !

done it seems to work well
