Cycles material parameters animated via drivers: possible?

I tried to animate a cycles material parameter (the emission) with a driver, but seems to do nothing! I did it with other objects parameter, and with Internal material parameters, and they work. But with cycles parameters doesn’t work. Is it impossible at the moment?

Any idea? Is it possible or not possible? This is the problem!

I also submitted this bug. It’s VERY important to the project I’m working on right now.
However, it looks like Aligorith has fixed it. Time to get the latest SVN version and start testing!
