Hi Everyone! You may have seen some of my wood shaders on Blendswap, and I wanted to teach others what I’ve learned along the way. I’ve created a couple of multi-part procedural wood tutorials on my blog and I’d love any feedback on them. They’re text-based tutorials on a blog, and I’ve tried to make them clear, educational, and realistic. Nicely done. I appreciate video tutorials but prefer a carefully written step-by-step procedure. I learned a several things. Thanks. ---

augh, I updated my URL and didn’t check all of the links to make sure they were updated. Apologies to anyone who tried to visit these and ended up at a shoe store or page with no images. ☹ I’ve fixed all the ones I could find and hope you can check them out again.
