I need a plane which accepts shadows cast upon it, but isn’t visible itself in a render.
I’ve found several posts on just this subject, but they either point to older versions or don’t really work.
I can find the setting in the object panel for Ray Visibility, but as suggested if I turn the camera setting off the object disappears and I get no shadow. What other setting am I missing?
Ah, have I been trying to apply Blender settings to Cycles?
In this instance I can use Blender. I tend to use Cycles as default. Should have thought of that.
