I’m creating a character with alot of hair particles and it looks simply beautiful with the viewport render. However, when I attempt to use to actual renderer, it tells me like 6 hours.
I have a laptop with 2x 770 GTX and 32 Ram for GPU rendering. I know this may sound weird, but I’m not really interested in what the final render is going to add.
Is it possible for me to simply click a button on the ui to export an image from 3D viewport in the shape of the camera I have provided? (Without having to screenshot of course or a boring openGL view, if that wasn’t inferred before)
I wonder if I could write a script if it does not already exist.
Render time in viewport will be roughly the same as separate render if all settings are the same. Probably you have way less hair strands rendering in viewport or similar differences that make render time different. Sample count, visibility, subdiv levels etc.
Yea, I fixed it. I have 5 different hair particles and one of them was 3 samples in the preview and 300 samples in the render. Now I feel like a noob. Thanks for the help.
