I am having trouble rendering an extruded cylinder. It want to render faceted. I have subsurf on and set smooth. The rest of the model renders OK, just not this cyliner. See the image at link below…green circle shows where I applied a bevel on edge of cylinder and it renders OK, red circle show rest of extruded cylinder and it render faceted. Any ideas?
A couple of things to check if you haven’t already:
- normals - in edit, select all verts, ctrl n…recalculate outside
- duplicates - in edit mode select all verts, w…remove doubles
