D-1000 (wolf mech)

Hey thanks Kyle! Been mening to put him in a scene as well, life just got busy for a bit, but should have some time now to explore. I’ve been doing 3d for about 13 yrs now

Hey!! Thanks so much masterzeon1001!! Means so much coming from such a hard surface guru as yourself! You and your plugins are one of the main reasons why I switched over the Blender! I have been searching for years to find a better more streamlined hardsurface workflow and I am so glad I did now thanks to box cutter and hardops. Very much appreciate all of the vid tutorials as well. The content is great!

Wow! Really nice work, and amazing detail in all areas of the design.
But looking at this robo dog, I think I prefer ‘Spot’ now

Incredible, really. The detail is amazing, you did a great job… With that said, I get the sneaking suspicion that military contractors like darpa and boston robotics are already developing terrifying robotic dogs, hopefully they don’t see this and get some ideas! Makes me think blm is a move to push out humanoid cops and have them replaced with robots. It will certainly happen at some point it’s just a matter of when, let’s pray they don’t look like this :relaxed:

Very nice! Great detail. The camouflage fabric bags are a nice touch…, first thing that caught my eye.

How much time would you guess it took you from idea to this version?

Hey, thanks so much for the kind words. I would say about 2 months at least for design. I was going through so many references finding shapes that worked for the overall design and of course, there was a lot of back and forth process.
