Blender 2.40 + post work in Photoshop, Painter.
Thank you for viewing my work,
RobertT
Really well done RobertT. I love the concept and the awesome lighting and glow. Really well done, no crits from me.
I really like it. I only have two complaints:
I have little idea of what it is, but I like the colors.
Very good work, it looks marvellous. Also, I do believe I understand it.
which one is david? hehe, great work RobertT
Wow, fantasic work Robert.
I sure do love bright lights and the colours green and blue.
Yet another great work! Amazing!
I didn’t know what I was looking at at first, upon a second look I got the “david and goliath.”
I like how you make things seem immense and complicated.
As always, an incredible picture. Keep going!
Mattimus: Glad you liked the idea, Mattimus.
The_Nerd: Thanks. The letters in the title hint at what may be going on in the image.
henrymop: Haha, thanks. On one level, this goes back to an ancient story.
nerdVANNA: Thanks, and great that you could connect wit it.
Woodman5k: Thanks, Woodman5k. Ah, that’s a good question
Grape Ape: I appreciate that, Grape Ape. This was a fun project.
GmL: Wow, thanks, Gml. I’m trying to build some momentum in each of these pieces and get to another level.
HatchFactry: Thanks for the great comments. I enjoy creating works like this where, at a glance it might be visually interesting, and later it could mean more
space.warp: Thanks! I am working on some new stuff at the moment. It’s all very exciting, especially to hear back from people afterwards.
RobertT
Wow now this is awesome. I get a very good sense of the HUGENESS of it all. I like this alot better than the garden fairies
Fantastic, very nice work!
Very nice job RobertT, I like the concept, the great composition, the amount of details as well as the deep colors and light.
Great job
Enrico
Once again, fantastic work. I love the old story applied so simply to a futuristic scene.
I was wondering, what did the pure render look like? You’ve done some beautiful post pro on it, and it’s a great scene but I’d love to see the render if you don’t mind posting it.
Thanks
Ian
I just love your eye for detail and realism. who would ever have came up wth the idea to put those ropes in such shapes…
You master the skills RobertT
Jacco;
3 words. I like it. Can you post original render? (I just want to see what was added in photoshop)
I love the textures.
Nice work.
Edit: I agree with all the pleas for a desktop sized version. And I never change my desktop, I downright fear change.
WOW.
Make it bigger! My desktop calls to it!
Hey RobertT… damn I remember when you first started posting your work… you have always had a great eye for color and concept… not too mention imagination…
Without knowing the title, if the two objects had a little more distance between them I believe the end viewer would still get it…
Beautiful colors and concept as usual…
Please tell me the lightning bolts are PP, or have you mastered Blender’s new lightning function… LOL LOL:D
Side note: I remember a Canadian company that could print out beautiful high res poster size prints from digital files… one of our local artists would send his work to this company and they woul print out huge posters of his work and he would sell them at art shows… my point being, the artist moved and I don’t remember who he used… surely with your pieces you must have a source to print these babies out poster size???
