I have a dae file that I’d like to import into Blender. I’ve tried it, but end up with
an empty scene instead of the model. Is there a trick, bug with this?
Better ask your question in one of the support forums.
First thing to do is to ensure yourself that there was or wasn’t anything imported.
For that the Outliner will tell you.
If you find out that there was something imported after all, it can be anywhere in the 3D world or on another layer. Open every layer (buttons on the 3D view header), activate at least one of the objects in the Outliner, press Numpad-dot key to zoom on it.
From there I guess that you can manage on your own.
If nothing was imported I can’t help you but maybe others can.
But the Collada importer shouldn’t be that bad…
