Daily Jumble (#4, July 29)

See bottom for updates:

This is my attempt at blending a scene everyday, to both improve my skills and also to keep working blender in general. Scenes should follow everyday  (Yes this is a ba drip off of boring3d :stuck_out_tongue: )

flying pan

C&C of course very welcome

Nice except for the falling egg. I don’t know what to suggest, but it doesn’t look real.

Can I suggest making one elaborate scheme instead of trying to pump a new blend out every day?

R2Blend: Thanks, yea the egg isn’t very good, but it was an experiment with metaballs gone sadly wrong %|
Anogarir: True, I do have some large projects I’ve been working on, but I’ve not done stuff on them for awhile. This daily sketchbook type thing is serving to get my mind and blender back to work (after such a long break)… Maybe also some of the daily blends will turn into something bigger? :stuck_out_tongue:

C7C of course very welcome

The second one is alot better then the first

I really like that second one. Are you using radiosity???

Cheers,

b01c

Mr_bomb: thanks, why is it better tho?
block01cube: nope no radiosity, scene is: raytraced spot lights (with blue tint, dupliverted on huge background sphere), AO, and translucency for the pinkish sphere things

I like image #2

Image 4 is the best

What he said.

You should keep working with #4 it looks like it has potential

#4 is cool, thou it appears that the buildings or whatever they are, are floating.

Nice - reminds me a bit of Metropolis - you really should work on this one more.

Image 4 is the best
i think

I prefer image 1. It’s so simple, yet perfect. Keep working on #4, it has potential.
