I have a 5 level demo out of my upcoming 99 level game called “Dark World”. The first 5 levels are relatively easy, and to beat the whole demo it should take from 5-10 minutes. This game runs in 2.43 specifically, and the controls are explained in the game.
Synopsis:
You are a ball of light in a world of Darkness. The King of Shadows has captured the 9 Leaders of Light, and it’s your job to battle through the forces of evil to save Dark World from certain peril! (Every 10 levels there is a Boss Fight…).
Yes, not much of a plot, but it explains a bit… I guess…
Something weird happens (Sometimes) and you go spinning out of control… i don’t know what did it but it happened to me.
Other than that pretty cool, especially the skull that appears when they die (Just for a brief seconde).
I really like the atmosphere of the game (especially your use of dynamic lighting), though I found the gameplay to be incredibly difficult. Also, in 2.43 11c, I keep getting a “static-static collision” error. Not sure what that’s all about.
Heh, I like the plot (which is like a first for me when talking about blender games).
The controls are buggy, at best. It’s far too easy to have the ball freak out on you and drop of the side. Also the jumping seems iffy, if you hold it down the ball just hovers, in addition to freaking out.
if you select the ground shadow, go into edit mode and move it slightly above its preveious position it wont clip with the ground plane like its doing now(just a hint)
