This is my WIP entry for the BlenderGuru Christmas Competition
It is a fairly realistic representation of what is in the corner of my lounge room right now. The Table and chairs are the ones my 3 year old daughter uses every day.
Still to do:
Lights
Tinsel (aka Garland?)
other decorations
and maybe texture the carpet - if i feel like - it’s not very nice carpet though
and that’s it if I am keeping it to what is realistic here - nothing too fancy as this is Dear Santa on a budget for us this year:(
Good start. You might also want to add detail to the walls, family pictures maybe? Children’s art or drawings. Things like that. Also add some molding to the bottom of the floor.
Would you believe the bottom of the wall as depicted in my picture is accurate, except for some water damage from the bathroom - not going to model that though.
Pictures sounds like a good idea - might have to take some photos of my daughter’s drawings that are all over the wall. thanks for that tip.
Its a good start…I would definately add some kind of skirting board to help seperate the wall from the floor. Also add a subsurf mod to the presents, as I’m not sure presents are perfectly sharp and square Clocks ticking
