Delete all horizontal or vertical edges in a grid

Hi, I have the wireframe of a grid of any division and want to delete either all vertical or all horizontal edges. How…? Trying to identify these edges an basis of their indices seems not to be a method, depending on the number of divisions its everytime different… More logic would be to detect the angles of the edges, following a method shown in various threads, but I do not get it worked for this case. Thanks for help.

Think you need a split edges node after yr curve to mesh.

You had the right idea with the dot product, but the math was incorrect. Try it like this:

You need to subtract one vertex Position from the other to get the “edge vector”
