Delete, Copy (Ctrl+C), and Paste (Ctrl+V) all have confirmation steps, yet they can all be Undone.
Quit has no confirmation step (From File and the Windows close button), but cannot be Undone, thereby losing your work.
- Is there a way to turn off the confirmation dialogs for steps that can be undone?
- Is the issue of no confirmation on quitting with unsaved work being tracked?

File -> User Preferences -> Interface Tab -> Click “Prompt Quit”
Blender will ask you if you want to quit if you have unsaved changes.

I’m obviously a newbie with Blender, and thanks for the prompt and thorough responses!
I come from an experienced Maya background, and although I was jolted by the Blender UI, I’m learning slowly, but surely with the default keys.
