Get the action name, either from the dope sheet, or the drop down in the action editor. Then type that name into the filter bar of the outliner. It will show what objects use that action.
in NLA there is 2 ob but it says no action !
so how do I get rid of that frame in time line ?
when I select any object
it is shown in green when I’m on frame 596
and I did not do any anim in this file
so not certain how it is there!
thanks

Hey RickyBlender,
Every once in a while. not very often, I find data can become corrupt… Not sure how…
When this happens, I start a new blender file, delete everything and start appending in parts from my corrupt file.
I can describe it in more detail if you want how I do this. It might work, might not work…
