I’ve looked this up and they all say to delete the textures and such, I’ve already done that and reopened Blender.
However how do I get rid of the uv projection? I want no UV on this object.

Thanks a lot, no idea why that option is so hidden.
Hidden as in the panel for UV Maps and the - symbol consistent with other areas of blender (materials, shapekeys etc) to remove something ?
It would be nice if you could delete the UVs in the UV image editor and not in that panel.
