nice man, i like especially the head, cause its strait and u can see some of the bones with a bit fantasy.
Maybe u could extrude the trouse part a bit before packing the texture on it, so that it really looks as if the trousers have some kind of thickness, and are not justinked on it. With extrusion of the trouser vertices it gets more plastic. The middle fingers could be a bit more bigger than the 2 sorrounding it (dunno how they are called in english:).
The shoes need much more detail, and also a fabric texture like u did it on the trousers.

You must use the “append or link” function. It is located in the “file” menu. Once there, navigate to your .blend file and click it. Then clik “object”. Press “A” to selec them all and right click the “lamp” and the “camera” to deselect them, as you don’t want 2 of them into your final scene.

I hope that my explanation were understandable…

By the way : Nice rocket and Hillbelly model. Good luck animating it!
