Get rid of the empty, when you end an objet it also ends it’s “Children”, just parent the bomb directly to the plane. THen when you want it to release, use an End Parent Actuator.

That should fix your problem.

Have a “physical barrier”. Place the bomb in a hatch. Then have the bottom slide out or rotate open, with an IPO. Then it will release the bomb(s).

I’d imagine this could cause many issues with collisions and such if the bomb is a rigid body.

Another method would be to parent an empty just under the bottom of the plane, and put the bomb on another (hidden) layer. Then have the empty edit object > add object bomb when you press the key.

Oh yeah, did not think of that. That probably is the best. Least CPU intesive, and there is no limit on how many bombs you have.
