Can you please give more detail? From your description do you mean that if a logic brick is set up to say, “explode when touching red material”… you want other objects doing the same thing… is that it?
You can make cubes “talk” to each other with “message”.
or you can select both objects and link from there
sigh just give us a quick blend lol
Right… so from object1, send message to object2 what the action outcome (from object1) is to be. Object2 gets the message as an input and acts accordingly, combining logically to its own actions as needed.
well thats basicly the way i said but a diff method, both give same outputs
Actually moffboffjoe I think your way is better. I used a “one at a time” message approach because of lack of context in the original question. However, for situations where selecting both works, your method has to be the more efficient.
Linking sounds FAR closer to what he wants than messaging.
To link 2 objects’s logicbricks:
- Select both objects by shift-right-clicking on them
- Go to the GameButtons
- Make sure “Sel” and/or “Link” is selected above the Sensors, Controllers, and Actuators
- Make connections in between the different objects.
