Deleting rulerdata not possible cause of locked layer

hi,

if i want to delete this rulerdata it gives this error message.

but where is this layer to find? i have only one “scene” and there i have only one “view layer”…

You have to L-click on the Bar that says RulerData3d then it will open the Minus symbol to delete that layer in annotations…but you need to L-Click on the Measueit Icon in the T-Panel ( Tool section Left side…to delete it from the screen (Don’t know why all the extra steps it used to be just clearing the annotation layer did it?) BTW this was in Blender 3.6…

ok. got it done…it is locked in the timeline. if i unlock it there, i can delete it in the “active tool”
