Hi, I haven’t posted on this forum in a long time, if ever but I decided that I might need a little help in the modeling of this creature. This is a small charature for an animation short I am doing, any comments which may help me improve this model in any way would be appreciated.
I like it. Very nicely modelled. Looks like a very clean mesh.
Only thing I find a little off is the connection between the upper arm and the lower arm near the elbow. The seam ther seem to throw it off. That’s just my opinion. You are probably modelling it that way on purpose.
Wow! Looks great already. I don’t know how important it is for you to make it look anatomically realistic, but anyway, here are a few things I’m noticing:
Bulge underneath the Bicep looks a bit unnatural - perhaps make the curve less exaggerated?
Kneecaps look more liee kinks/twists in a drinking straw, rather than solid bones - perhaps because the outer curve of the calf muscle continues following up and over into the kneecap, making it look like it’s all the one structure
Curves on the calf muscle look a bit strange - the ‘meat’ should be higher up the leg, rather than stetched evenly out.
Ankles look rather square
Sides of lower back look square

Well, what technique used here, Nurbs or Subsurf modeling, or are you using something else?
By the way, something about the legs I don’t really like (or let’s say I am not comfortable with, though I am not that good in these things, I might be wrong). But I like the overall model anyway, and I believe that our friends here will take care of it ;).

I would have never noticed the irregular pointy bits under the arms, the comments where exactly what i needed.
I’ve tried to rounden him off a little more and have taken in to account every suggestion.
He looks alot more like what i wanted him to look like now.
