I try to use the denoise node in the compositor but see virtually no difference with or without. Have I missed something out?
Help very appreciated

The Denoise Node has two more inputs. You have to enable denoise data:
Thanks alot
Yet my Blender 3.1.2 shows no such option for a Denoising Data noodle. I had the setup from this #ryanking video: https://youtu.be/JYyUMMboZFk?t=348
Perhaps I´ve missed a switch/button somewhere else?
As I could see you, your Renderer is Eevee that’s why Denoise Data does not work properly in the Compositor. It only works with Cycles.
Try Cycles and then back to View Layer Properties tab select Denoise Data and then back to your Compositor again.
And then continue to follow @DukesGG instructions.
Thanks @FennaFenn.
Just for clearance: That means that the setup in the video is false and of no use with denoise?
If I turn it on and off (mute) Denoise with Evee in the Nodes Editor I don’t see any difference in the re-rendering.
Even if I remove the Denoise Node I don’t see any difference after rendering, so the Denoise Node only works with Cycles.
I think that Eevee only has viewport demonising, if you need to access that then try rendering the viewport instead of the main render output.
