Here’s a game I’ve made. It’s an FPS with destructible physics. It’s really just a high score game. There’s lots of other stuff I’d like to do with it, but this is how far I’ve got at the moment. And I’m thinking of entering it into the Blender Summer Game 2010 Competition as is.
You can download the game distribution from the link in the info box below the video on YouTube or just download the blend file attached to this post. It’s all made in Blender 2.49b.
Heya, glad you like it on the whole. I agree it’s pretty minimal to be considered a game : ) Any way I found out about Burster the Blender Game Engine web browser plugin on Friday and put together this web page and a new YouTube video hopefully to help promote it.
For some reason it’s really loads more fun to play BGE games inside the browser. I duno why, it just is. So here’s the website where you can play it:
Here’s a new YouTube video demoing the browser plugin:
I want the Blender Game Engine to replace Flash within the next 5 years! : )
This looks pretty cool. If you clean up the environment and add some cool effects and music then it could be a pretty cool arcade game. It would be even cooler if you could setup some sort of an online scoreboard.
