How many of you watch the series Lost? I know that many of you do. Well, in tribute to the show, and because the series just ended for the summer, I decided to make a blender version of the swan station logo. This was made with blender 2.41 and rendered in yafray. Of course this is not done yet. This first one is the real thing.

clean and simple. Try to divide the “swan’s” neck into more vertexes or something simmilar to make it smoother.
You can make the rest of your model by just copying the existant parts, rotate, mirror them and scale them .
Very cool idea. Looks good so far but like snelleeddy said you need to make the neck smoother. So, are you gonna build the hatch too? I love LOST and can’t wait till the new season.

The Swan eh? Well whatever you do, don’t neglect the button. Make sure it is pushed every 108 minutes.
I haven’t seen any of the second season (don’t have the channel), but I have seen the first. I cannot wait for it when it comes out on DVD. Those rectangles around the edges looks like binary to me – 0 through 7. Starting from top going clockwise (assuming inner most is first digit) : 2, 7, 1, 0, 5, 6, 3, 4. Hmmm… I may be wrong.

I am the biggest Lost fan ever. I have never missed an episode. That counts for both season one and season two.
I’m a big lost fan too. I think it looks good. I’m not sure but isn’t that one of the symbols on the map (in the episode Locke hurts it legs)? If it is are you going to do the other stations too?

The original logo doesn’t have the ‘R’ flipped, the one you posted as reference is a fan image.

Ondrew, what kind of scene do you want it in? I’m intermediate so I can’t do too complex of a scene. but if you give me an idea i will do my best to get what you want.

Hey I hope people are still visiting this topic because I have been working a lot and I finally got some good progress done. I tried imitating the 3d stone dharma symbol on the above post by Heavily Tessellated. Here it is. tell me what you think please-
