Did Mike Seymour find the letters A and I from SIGGRAPH last year?

This is kind of silly, but it just occurred to me:

I remember hearing/reading somewhere about the letters A and I mysteriously vanishing at last year’s Siggraph. Something along the lines of some vandals supposedly stole them.

Disclaimer: I can’t remember where I heard that story, but I’ll just assume that’s what happened.

And now it just occurred to me:

FX Guide’s Mike Seymour, since about that time, has had red letters AI somewhere in the background when doing interviews, since FX Show #300:

So… that leads us to the question: Did Mike Seymour steal find the letters A and I from Siggraph?:laughing:

Did someone else do so and send them to Mike?:laughing:

That would be particularly dumb, lol. But let’s be super careful with accusations

I’ve been trying to find a source for the missing letters, so far no luck. Got one ?

Oh dear, I’m really as far as can be from trying to make any accusations whatsoever!

It was really mainly a joke, I’m not implying Mike Seymour actually had anything to do with whatever happened to those letters from Siggraph, I just thought it was a hilarious coincidence.

If anything, Mr Seymour found a box on his doorstep one day which contained the letters and he thought they were cool and kept them.

For the life of me I can’t remember (nor find a source from a quick search).

But again: I am not accusing anybody of anything, I apologize if it sounded like that.
