Different matcap material p object

I am wondering if in Blender 2.8x it is possible to have different matcap materials on an object.
We can set color to object color to have different collors but it be nice too if some objects could have a different matcap assigned.

In viewport shading popover, matcap display is defined for whole viewport.

But matcaps are just images. You can use them as a texture.
So, you can apply to objects, different materials using different matcaps as textures.
