Different texture repeat patterns

Hard to explain but here it goes:
I have hacked models from a game and want to insert them into TrackMania. Anyways, you know how when a texture is tiled, it’s just a repeat of the same thing? Well, in this game, it’s really strange (but honestly a real space saver) Right above the texture, instead of the bottom of the texture, it’s a mirror of it. Same goes for all other sides. So if you go to the right or left of it, you’ll see an X axis mirror, and if you go higher or or lower, you’ll see a Y mirror.
Trackmania (NF) is VERY picky with it’s models (Exactly what texture type, compression, size, verts per object, # of objects, object names…) so I doubt it supports it, so I want to know if it’s possible to make a texture that, in a cross or something with all the mirrors, can make it show properly…
Also, is it possible for blender to use this mode? I honestly think it’s a real space saver.

So, you think mirror tiling probably isn’t supported, but you reckon something you invented yourself probably is?

You might save yourself a lot of time and trouble if you find out what tiling methods are supported first, then figure out what you are going to do about it…
