That’s a very interesting portrait, indeed. I like the “egg-shaped hair” as a framing device, with very good use of rim lighting (both on the hair and on the face). The high-key highlights in the eye, eyelid, nose and lips is very interesting, and indeed is a signature of the art. The treatment of the right side of the face against the (very different) treatment of the left side is artistic and intriguing. The dilated pupils suggest that she is attracted to the viewer, whom she is looking directly at. The tonal range is good throughout the entire photograph, as is the palette of colors (warm against cool). She’s looking at you, she’s very interesting, and you want to know more about her, but she’s the one holding the cards.
I’d love to see the world of which she is a part.
