Disable smoothing/antialiasing for a certain texture?

I’m making a Minecraft-related model, and I want it to look higher-quality than Minecraft does itself. However, I want to use the pixelated textures of Minecraft. How can I prevent Blender from smoothing just these textures?

@imjake9 Are you talking in the renderer or the Game Engine? Because as far as I know, the render doesn’t smooth textures… but the GE does…

I know this post is a little old, but I’d like to know how to do this too!
