is it possible to disable center area “Trackball style rotation of selected items” when use rotate tool?
I only need 4 axes (X, Y, Z and View).

In 2.7x, there was an hotspot value making area sensitive to trackball rotation really small near origin.
So, it could be neglected. And only disabling of axis is supported until now.
But you are right.
Something should be done, because the whole gizmo ball can trigger such rotation.
I am annoyed by same thing happening with Scale gizmo disk.
