Howdy, I just updated our installation of Discourse to 2.7.0beta1. As last time, there aren’t any major user-facing changes, here’s the full release log.
One important change is that we’re now using a more recent version of Redis, which is used extensively for internal caching. This version now supports multi-threading and since we’re on a 12-core server this might speed up some processes. Fingers crossed!
This release also marks the official release of 2.6.0. If you’re interested, you can find a full overview of the most important changes here (note that we’re on their beta branch and have been using these features for a long time already):
