Displacement Modifier Border

Hi all! Is there a way I can remove this border on the edge using the displacement modifier? For some reason whenever I use the modifier it goes inside the the mesh creating a boarder. Could you do me a favor and help me out. Thanks!

Hi. You use Vertex Group in Displace modifier by assigning the entire top face to the group but excluding the very thin face border from the group.
