Displacement node in shading editor not working

Dear everyone,

I am trying to displace a plane onto which I have applied a texture with a setup which breaks the tiling.
Two things, what do you think about the setup, and, most importantly, why isn’t my displacement node having any effect?
Side note, I have put the entire tiling shader into one group because I want to blend it with another “untiled” texture later with it.

Displacement is only visible in Cycles. Your viewport was set to Material Preview which is based on EEVEE.
