Hi there! So i want to make a carpet material. I have my difuse and displacement map. however, if i put my disp in material output it is kind of limited to very low value. So i want to use the dispace modifier in the object modifier tab. i load up a texture, but there is no control over it. i tried to use nodes but they are working for shaders and composing, but not for textures. any solution? i just want to be able to at least scale the displacement texture.

You can use a separate UV set just for the displacement so you can vary the scale of the texture (assuming its tileable) in the uv image editor window by scaling the uv unwrap.
i have tried this, but it didnt worked out. maybe u have some example or tutorial? how about the nodes?
