I make my human models in make a human and then import them as .OBJ
files. Is there a way to make wrinkles or possible makeing somekind of starwars alien using displacement mapping or some other type of mapping, or do I have to model all the wrinkels and bumps.
displacement will modify the mesh and increase the quantity of vertices in you model
and may be a lot more than what you want
make human i think is laready heavy duty so i doubt this is the best way of doing it
if there is only a few wrinkles tent do it by hand and this should work fine
and wrinkles are so specific in certain areas then you select where youw ant theses and do it
check the wiki pages on bump and normal map this might work!
