Distance Attribute

Is there a way to set a geonode value to depend on its distance from a certain object?

I’m trying to animate a character falling through the clouds, but obviously volumetrics are pretty taxing on the computer. I want the resolution to lower and the model size to grow based off of the distance it is from the camera/character.

The uploaded file contains some geomNodes groups demonstrating how to use the Geometry_Proximity node.

As far as using this to change a model’s resolution, you could do this also in geomNodes, but if you mean outside of geomNodes, I have no idea.
