Do other renderers have the same functionality as Cycles' light path node?

I am using light path node in Cycles well.
Suddenly, I wondered if there were other renderers with this feature.
I’m not sure because I only have blender experience.
If you know, please let me know.

I don’t know, but if your renderer supports OSL script, you can use light path, but only with CPU, not GPU.

Oh, so does Blender Cycles’ light path node run entirely on the GPU?
Or will it work with the CPU even if I set it to GPU?

For OSL, only CPU, for Light Path node, you can use with CPU and GPU.

Redshift/Arnold/Clarisse have a “ray switch” node, which is similar. But the light path node offers a bit more flexibility

Oh OK. I’ll ask for a little more clarity.
Is the light path node calculated by the GPU when the device setting of Cycles is set to GPU?

Oh… thank you. I didn’t know there was a “ray switch” in the other renderers.
I will search.

Yes it is.
