I’ve been using the new 2.64 test build with harmony and I wanted to know if “receive transparent” works on alpha textures using the sun lamp buffered shadow. I clicked the “receive transparent” tab on the alpha material and it still shows up as a square plane where the shadow is displayed. I wanted to know if it can do this or it’s not possible.
do receive transparent shadow work with the 2.64 build sun light?
Transparent shadows have never been supported in the BGE, I also don’t think they were introduced in the initial phase of the harmony project either.
I forgot spot lamps can’t cast transparency.
