Doc Ock's Arms, I tried to make them atleast

A little sparkle won’t hurt

What do y’all think?
(Excuse the highlight clipping, it’s a transparency issue)

From what I remember from the movie, these are spot-on but I think the claw was a bit longer and perhaps they could use a bit more detail in how they operated… Just my thoughts on a memory…

Waiting to see these in action on ole- Doc Oct

Happy Blending!

Yeah, I wanted something done relatively quick.
But I’ll probably spend some more time on it to get it lookin’ good, the actual doc ock was the main quest.

But thanks

How do you like it now? This was the work done for today

(I think it looks better in cycles)

Not bad, the arms look good! The doctor might need some eyebrows and eyelashes to really look human though.

If you are in Eevee, try to activate the “raytracing” option (“ambient occlusion” and “screen space reflections” if you are in an older Blender version). This will allow the enclosed spaces to be darkened and reflective surfaces to get more detail, somewhat closing the gap between the two renderers.

I had to go look, but he is missing his goggles/shades and hat…

This was Eevee next. Old Eevee Render was much worse

This is actually awesome reference, thanks man

The hair looks great!

Does the skin material have any subsurface scattering? It’s necessary for skin to have it if you want it to look correct. The default settings should give a good color for skin, though you may need to adjust the distance.
