Hi! Here is some work in progress previews of my ongoing project. It suposed to be 1970 dodge challenger as Title does say. I’m quite new to blender and I think it will show on these pictures (topolgy, materials, etc.) I started this project this august on introducition to blender course at our school. I have spend whith it allmost all my free time ^^’’ (around 150wh atm.) I’m planing to make it as realistic looking as possible.
in fact I didn’t do those tires exactly like in blender gurus tut, but I watched quite a lot other blender guru tutorials. I shoud wached that tutorial thou ^^’’
Oh and yeah there is quite a lot missing details. cars topology isn’t that good and materials needs tuning.
I might release this when it’s ready in blendswap.
you need to take them closer to the car , that little camera icon on the 3d header can take a opengl render of your active 3dview. Use that to make your screen shots. It should work unless you have one of those intel integrated graphics card. Right now these screen shots are not really useful the are 70% interface at the moment with the car stuffed in the other 30%. More car less interface.
I forgot to add take them in edit mode, with flat shading it helps to see what is going on
hey man, I’m modeling this car too haha… but I’m having trouble now at the front bumper… and the blueprints dont fit with each other any tips for how to model the front bumper?
Thanks
If you can’t scale the blue prints to fit it’s jus trial and error then I had over 70 reference pics for this one I can send them to you or you can down load my model from blendswap.
so I have put my project to blend swap so anyone intrested can download it from there. I’m sorry about the windows I need to make them work when I have time but now I have to focus to school and family. spring will come with more freetime so I can continue.
