Dodgy stats....

According the the statistics on GeoCities, of the 2 people that viewed one of my pages, 97.3% use Win98, and 2.7% use WinXP
43.4% use 800x600 resolution, 48.5% use 1024x768 and 8.1% use “Unknown”
And all the rest of the stats go on like this.

It’s happened before too, in fact most of the pages have percentages that don’t line up with the views.

I just thought I’d share that with everybody for a bit of a laugh.

Maybe the percentage is based on page views and doesn’t count you?

But still, 2 page views should gove 0%, 50% or 100%, shouldn’t it?

shouldn’t it??

Maybe I need to go back to math class, but i’m pretty sure something’s wrong here…

they probably used non-linear algebra, don’t try to understand :stuck_out_tongue:

Martin

It’s beacause the 1 using Win98 stared at your work in amazement for 49 minutes, while the WinXP guy just gave a quich 1 minut glance.

Of course changing their resolution in the meanwhile
